*Disclaimer. I am going to do my best to avoid sounding whiney, because I’m not whining at all.
You know how sometimes you bite off more than you can chew?
Yeah. That’s me this year. I’m not even going to get into everything going on, but anyone who has messaged me, called me, seen me, or smelled me knows that I have stretched myself a little thin. But only because when an opportunity arises, I want to conquer it. So that’s what I’m doing.
I’m currently writing two books on deadline right now and also have the charity that sort of blew up when it launched seven weeks ago. I’m volunteering my time to that and it’s consuming an easy 40-50 hours a week getting it up and running and the doors to The Bookworm Box open.
I wouldn’t trade this for the world and I’m happy to be doing it. But I must regrettably admit defeat in one area, and that is anything that requires a response from me. Be it email, a Facebook message, a goodreads message. I am so behind, I’m not sure that I’ll be able to catch up. And that’s really hard for me to admit, because I believe a lot of my success is owed to the fact that I appreciate every single message sent my way and 99% of the time, I respond. But it’s come to a point that responding to everything is virtually impossible. If I want to continue writing and continue the work with the charity, I have to pull back until after Spring in this area.
So this is just my apology for my lack of an online presence in the next few months. Know that I will do my best to catch up when summer hits, but until then, my response time will be slow.
If you have a question about an order or something that requires a timely response, you can always email my business email at email@example.com and Stephanie or Murphy will make sure your question gets answered by me or Kanye West. Probably not Kanye, though. Let’s be real.
Also, my inbox messages on Facebook are rarely opened, so if it’s a message that requires a response, make sure to email the address above to ensure it’s seen.
Thank you guys, love you all and by all means, keep the emails coming! I hope to catch up with everything after my deadlines.
